Ramona's sense of her brave self is challenged when she gets her own bedroom and meets a big growling dog. See how she handles it all!

First-grader Ramona Quimby likes to think she's brave and fearless. She thinks she's being brave one day i the park--defending her big sister--but Beezus calls her silly and embarrassing. Famona also has a new bedroom of her own, and she finds it's not easy to be brave when there might be ghostly, boneless gorillas oozing under the door at night--and no one across the room to whisper to. Then Ramona has a tangle with a great big growling dog on her way to school. But Ramona will not gie in to a mean old dog. After all, she's her father's spunky little gal. Or is she?

My daughter enjoys Junie B Jones books, so I thought I'd introduce her to my favorite character/books from when I was her age. She loves Ramona! It is an easy and enjoyable read to share with your child or great for early readers!

One of my favorite childhood books. You can't go wrong with Ramona Quimby. It's a great book for children, especially young girls.

Funny and wonderful to read aloud with your children. This seris should be required reading for parents who need a guilt break and to see things from a silly, childish perspective. I have read the seris multiple times to myself and to my daughter.
