This book follows "Nights Landing" and preceeds "Dark Sky." And, yes, it is quite confusing if you haven't read the first book. Neggers writes well, but there's lots of characters and loosely woven plots which leads to confusion and not a lot of satisfaction at the end. Maggie and Rob don't seem to have enough time with each other to believably fall in love. It is a quick read.

no one does romantic suspense better...the rapids is a wonderful example of what love and suspense is all about

You find out who done it, a little early in the story. But it was still a great book

This novel was alright, but felt as if it were written a little choppy. It was an easy read, however the plot was a little boring for me, as were the characters. I felt Maggie and Rob didn't have enough chemistry and I wasn't too bought into their romance. I loved the setting of the novel and the first few chapters, but I really lost most interest about 1/3 of the way through.

Great sequel to 'Night's Landing' Hours after Nick Janssen's arrest in the Netherlands, Rob Dunnemore is in Europe and hot on the trail of a killer. All the old characters are back in full force, with a few new ones to add mystery.

Good book. Slightly damaged cover though.
