This series just gets better and better. Definitely read the other books first or you will be completely lost.
Things are going good for Joanne. She has the man of her dreams, Morrison. She is without a paying job but at least she is fully embracing her shamanism. Then she gets bitten by a werewolf and has to return to her mother's homeland to find a cure and of course defeat a bunch of baddies through luck and skill.
I love the introduction of a few new characters and I also loved the fact that it isn't always Joanne who saves the day. The action was nonstop with great humor. There wasn't enough Morrison but what there was - ah, sigh -.
Awesome urban fantasy read with some light humor thrown in. Joanne isn't the perfect hero and it makes her even more wonderful.
