I'll preface this by saying that I'm a low fat vegan - 80/10/10 style as per Dr. Graham.
This is a high fat raw "cook" book. A lot of the recipes call for 1 to 2 cups of olive oil! If not olive oil, then it's tons of avocados. If it's not avocados, then it's lots of nuts. The recipes in here offer more fat intake than the standard American diet. And, contrary to what a lot of raw foodists believe, there is no such thing as "good" fat. There is "better" fat and "bad" fat. But, even the better fat is still ... fat. Eating tons of fat daily will damage one's health.
Also, a lot of the recipes feature mile long ingredient lists. Some of the ingredients are hard to find, IMO. But, most of them should appear in the average Whole Foods store.
Having said all that, the recipes in here are tasty. They would be fine for occasional use or special events, i.e. birthdays, holidays, etc. I would NOT eat from this book on a daily basis. Actually, I wouldn't eat from this book more than once or twice a year!
If someone is looking for a very easy, simple way of eating raw, I'd recommend Dr. Graham's 80/10/10 diet book over this one. Otherwise, if you're looking for good, tasty recipes for special occassions - this book is it.

Eating raw is very complicated and does require a lot of work. However, the recipes in this book are very innovative and interesting. If you have the time and are interested, you can make some very gourmet recipes with new flavors.

Exciting healthy recipes using the best ingredients. Something for everyone, not just raw vegans.
Beautiful book. I haven't had a chance to try the recipes yet.
Great book, too bad I didn't find anywhere else and had to pay $37.00 for it.
