This was a good book. I absolutely love the hero of this story. What a guy! I wish there could be more men like him! This was a quick read that I finished in 1 day because I couldn't put it down.

A ecentric scientist and a beautiful woman -- another story of the beauty and the beast. Still a great classic.

Great love story. Opposites find out why they "attract". This is her first story and is really good. If you like Lori Foster you'll love Lucy Monroe.

Good read but no a keeper for me. Didn't really have the emotional impact I was hoping for.

It's a romantic comedy with lots of sexual tension and the occasional sheet melting scene. The hero is a 'you go to the lab and the next time you notice it's Tuesday' genius - the heroine is a businesswomen with an emotionally abusive past. She is sent to talk him into agreeing to a corporate merger he doesn't want. He wants another type of merger entirely. Great characters, good plot, funny, sexy and witty.

Lucy Monroe's debut novel introduces a pair of delightfully sparring opposites whose undeniable attraction is about to take them beyond the edge of reason...and right into the throes of delicious passion...

Love the humor in this story!
A fun read. Amanda is trying to seal a business deal, but ends up losing her heart instead.
This is the first book I read by Lucy Monroe and I LOVED IT.... I am not sure why, but I just fell in love with the book, the characters, the writing style, etc. DEFFINATELY WORTH THE READ!!!!
If you like Jayne Anne Krentz, this book may appeal to you- I found it similar in many ways to her novels from a few years ago, pre-Arcane society etc, when she was writing about characters involved in business etc. The main characters bear a resemblance to hers and the story is set in the Pacific Northwest too. However, this book does not have the mystery/suspense element that JAK often includes-
Years after a disastrous marriage destroyed any semblance of self-esteem, all Amanda Zachary has left is her career. She scores a major coup in being assigned the task of negotiating a merger between her firm and a computer company, but one of the owners, Simon Brant, refuses. Over six feet of exotic looks, rock-hard abs, and sexy ponytail, Simon is a genius-recluse ensconced on an island near Seattle. Said genius has a few flaws, including stunted social skills and a tendency to become so engrossed in his work that he disappears for hours, even days. Overcome with a sudden idea, he abruptly ends his first meeting with Amanda and suggests that they reconvene at his house, which is how they end up living together. She keeps trying to convince Simon; he keeps disappearing; she is afraid she's falling in love, and the only way Simon can think of to keep her around is to delay making a decision.
Romance....
