Hi everyone. I'm trying to find a WWII anthology in which my grandmother was one of the authors. She passed away a couple of years ago from Alzheimer's when I was overseas. I have tried Google research but haven't come up with anything. Don't know the title, I just remember seeing the book when I was a kid visiting at her house and reading it. Her name was Joanne Sweeney, and she wrote about seeing my grandfather Thomas (Tom) come home after being away at war for years. I am not 100% sure but I believe it was the last selection in the book. That's pretty much all I remember about it. If anyone knows how to track something like this down, I'd greatly appreciate it. I have no idea what happened to the book she had. Her "friends" pretty much helped themselves to everything in her house once she started getting sick. And if by some miracle someone actually has the book and wouldn't mind parting with it, I'd love to work something out. Thanks for your time! Jen |
