Bubblegum for the brain. Her 'undead' series is sooooo much better.
This was a total disappointment.

MJ is a trip. Her stories have the wackiest sense of humor and yet, still end up with loads of steam. And this one is no different. Three short stories about three other-worldly brothers somehow come together into a full-fledged book that's just about the right length. I read this one in just a day.

3 "unusual" stories of bad boys who can also become puma's. 3 women from the past, present & future end up in a new world where the men are gorgeous & also feline & fall in love (while giving the guy's a hard time doing it). Very good read.

Light reading, fairly unbelievable, but enjoyable. First I've read by the author, liked that the heroines sounded like real people, though there wasn't alot of depth to the male characters.

lised as 3 different stories, but the all interconnect and involve the same family of bad boys.

If you're familiar with any of MJD's books, you won't be surprised to find that the characters are very shallow and poorly developed, even if this is comprised of short stories. The leading ladies are typical of any of her books as well as they are all a bit dim-witted, mouthy, whiny and boarder on TSTL. The "bad boys" in here really fell flat, as they were, quite literally, nothing but big pussy-cats and a little lame to boot.

There's definitely several plot-holes in the stories and plots that just weren't satisfying at all, which made it a less than spectacular read.

Overall, it's an okay read, and luckily quite quick.

As long as you aren't expecting anything deep, in characters or plot, this is a good, easy read (I finished it in one afternoon/evening of reading.) It had me chuckling more than once, and some of the scenes were nicely steamy. A good summer-beside-the-pool read!

Bridefight". With her injured knee killing her, Detective Lois Commoner takes a pain killer. However, somehow she wonders what she took because she is no longer inside her apartment. Instead she is in a beautiful strange land looking in delight at a naked hunk Prince Damon who offers to take the visitor under his wings and his body. The cop in her says to investigate him thoroughly starting with a pat down even though she sees he has no hidden weapons.

"Mating Season". Army officer Lieutenant Anne Sanger looks forward to being stationed in Germany so she can see Europe and hopes to meet a strong farm lad in uniform who worships her. Instead she meets Prince Maltese naked in her tub who wants to kiss her senseless, which he does. Everything is ecstasy unless she figures she will wake up putting a climax to what feels so truly hard.

"Groomfight". Prince Shakar seemingly fell from the heavens at the feet of Rica Callanbra. He adjusts to her lifestyle while she adapts to having a compassionate caring hunk to swim naked with and make love to. However, the Prince must go home because he must marry one of the fighting females from his realm. Of course these women never battled a strong female human who knows what she wants and how to achieve her objective.

These three amusing erotic romantic fantasies are terrific fun stories starring strong females who match up well with REALLY UNUSUAL BAD BOYS. Once again nobody combines humor, romance, otherworldly elements (including that), and erotica into fabulous tales like MaryJanice Davidson.
