I really enjoyed this book. The fact that dogs are involved is a plus for me. Alex Kava is one of my favorite authors and never disappoints. The mystery unfolds and keeps you on the edge of your seat. I am working on book 2 in the series now. Highly recommend this!

This book is a fast race against bioterrorism. The use of scent tracking dogs to find the infected will have you holding
your breath. The book also touches on returning war vets, depression, and homeless. If you are not aware of all dogs can detect through scent, you might want to read the authors note before you begin the story. Amazing book! AMAZING DOGS!

The dogs have been his savior, easing his PTSD. I promise.. the dogs are priceless. He trains some of them as cadaver dogs, they have even been taught to sniff out certain diseases. His dog, Grace, is my personal favorite.
