I think everyone needs to know before picking up this book that it is based on the fictional idea that the new pope is a clone from the shroud of turin and was born a virgin birth. That is just a crazy idea that sets the ground work for an even crazier book that ends flat. I kept reading it as some parts were semi interesting but it is slow moving, and by the end you do not care what happens, to be honeest I think the author felt the same way with the flat ending. If you have nothing else to read, all other books are gone from your home but this one or you find yourself intersted in a horrible read because you would like the opportunity to be both bored and disgusted, then this is for you, if not, don't waste your time.
