My library has a bin for used eyeglasses. Magazines can be left at your doctor's office (they won't care or notice) or traded at Half-Price Books. Computers can be recycled various places, big retailers do it now, local communities sometimes gather them up, and my Goodwill stores recycle anything electronic. |

I've started saving my magazines until school is out. My daughter is always having to make collages that show certain shapes or angles, or maybe fat-free foods. I'm not talking kindergarten here. High school honors courses. So teachers could probably use the magazines, too. |

I run a school library, so I accept all old magazines (except porn). They all go in a big green box by the door, where people can pick out anything they want and take it with them, and every one teacher takes a bunch every semester for collage projects. |

Lions Club takes hearing aids as well. When I called the Lions to ask, they said just put the hearing aids in the eye glasses box. |

Just saw that Staples now has free computer and technology recycling. Here's the list of what they'll take: Items accepted for free recycling*:
*Limit 6 items per customer per day. All brands of items are accepted regardless of where purchased. And it doesn't matter how OLD the equipment is either :-) |
