I read a later version of this series and decided to read the other books. Didn't care for this first one, it seemed like it was written by a man and not a woman. An easy book to put down.
I loved PN Elrod's Jack Fleming vampire series. I ordered this book to see how far I wanted to go into the backstory of the mythology. It's a well written book, and if you liked the Jack Fleming series, you should like this one as well.
