I almost passed this book up at a flea market, until I noticed a review on the front cover from Adriana Trigiani (My favorite author!) saying, "This is one to share with your girlfriends."
LOVED this one from the start. After her boyfriend dumps her for another woman, Lyssa Allen decides to have 'An adventure' and does something she would never before even think of doing! She takes off all on her own (Leaving her hairdryer behind!) for a month-long trek to Napal.
A funny, sweet story about self-discovery and finding love in the strangest of places.

This book does not have the dust jacket, but is in excellent condition.

This book is great. A laugh a minute and couldn't put it down. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
Loved it!
I liked this one- makes me want to up and leave for Nepal too!
a great beach read
Good chick lit about a woman who discovers herself on a trip to a third world country. She meets a man there and has to chose between him and her ex. Good read.
With this book, Ms. Matthews became my favorite author. I've enjoyed many of her books and this one rates at the top.
Such a great book! A little slow at times but I couldn't stop reading. Inspiring at times. Great vacation read.
***SPOILERS BELOW***
It did take me a few chapters to get into this book. At the beginning of the book I was a little annoyed with how Lyssa was so dependent on Jake and how obsessed she was with trying to have a baby. I did feel sorry for the guy a little bit until I found out Jake was cheating on her. I dont care what excuse a person has for cheating he/she should never do it. I did enjoy reading about life in Nepal, it got me thinking about different cultures all over the world. Carole did a great job at explaining how life was in Nepal. I also enjoyed the relationship Lyssa had with her sister it reminded me in quite a few ways of mine and my sisters relationship. All in all this book made me long for an adventure!
