It was a great and bitter sweet ending to this series, Zoey & her friends have to take care of Neferet once and for all and to save Tulsa. Unfortunately there with be some upsetting losses, but some happy endings also. It would have been nice to know what happens to Zoey and her friends in the future and see how everyone is doing but there wasn't one so we could let our imaginations run wild for everyone.
