Going hand in hand with Stephen King's 'Desperation,' 'The Regulators' is one of the funnest, wildest, most harrowing stories I've read. If you like stories where a bunch of people are trapped in a truely extraordinary situation, then give this one a go!

Boys and their toys become frightening real. The sound of an engine revving makes the hair stand up on my neck.

King fan. Bachman fan. Didn't enjoy the reading of this book at all. The same pretty much goes for "Desperation", too. Even though they both were supposed to be tied into The Dark Tower somehow,,,I didn't "get" a lot of it and found myself ticked off at the end.
I enjoyed this book more than Desperation. Extremely fast pace and a page turner. More characters to get to know.
A "companion" piece to Stephen King's novel "Desparation".
There's a place in Wentworth, Ohio where summer is in full swing. It's called Poplar Street. Up until now, its been a nice place to live. The idling red van around the corner is about to change all that. Let the battle against evil begin.
WOW- this book will leave you on the edge of your seat. Poplar St will never be the same after the red van shows up---will you?
I just love this one!
Stephen King as we know and love him!
I don't even know how to explain this book....it was sooo strange! But a good strange, I couldn't put it down! I had to know what happened. It reminded me a little bit of From A Buick 8 because of the alternate world type thing. It was definitely different but awesome read.
I am a huge stephen king fan. But this book was a little dissapointing to me. I just could not get into it like I could with his other books. I kept reading and reading and it just was not getting my attention. Hopefully if you want this book it will be better for you. I know everybody has different opinions but to me I was not satisfied.
The TITLE, AUTHOR, ISBN and BOOK TYPE all match, but the photo on the front does not match. The book I have highligts RICHARD BACHMAN as the author instead of STEPHEN KING, even though BACHMAN is KING's pseudonym or doppleganger however you prefer. ONLY THE COVER IS DIFFERENT. But this is an awesome book and a must read for all Bachman and King fans.
the cover doesn't match this, but the isbn is the same
