If you like Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child books, this was a good book. It's a bit unrealistic, but just what you'd expect from these guys.

I really liked the story. Some of the names were difficult to pronounce and understand. There are a lot of characters, but the author does a good job of reminding you who he's speaking of when he switches characters.
The story is def. out there, but totally interesting. I'm not really a sci-fi person, but this was cool! The audio cd is only 3 hours though, so that was disappointing. I was hoping for more like 5-6 hours, but again totally worth the "read"!
I'm requesting the next audio book in the series if that tells you anything! My understanding is the more current ones are even better.

This abridged audiobook presentation of Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child's first Agent Prendergast novel was very enjoyable to listen to! Narrator David Colacci has an interesting style, and, of course, the story is an excellent one. I really enjoyed the New York Natural History Musuem setting and this story of a cursed relic which is about to go on display in the museum.
Great book, lots of action. Cross between mystery, sci-fi and adventure. Start of a really wonderful series.
