Think "Under the Tuscan Sun" written by a comedic writer, and you've got "The Reluctant Tuscan." This book is so funny, and will have you smiling throughout the read. Bought this book on a whim and was delighted by the read! Definitely recommend this book to others!

Anyone who has ever entertained the idea of packing up and moving to Tuscany, or even just visiting the region will enjoy this light-hearted memoir of a former(?)Hollywood screenwriter. I love the area, so it struck a chord with me. If you have read and enjoyed Under the Tuscan Sun or A Year in Provence, you will definitely enjoy this wonderful tale, also. You won't be able to put it down!

We read this book for our couples' book club. It was excellent...funny, real and with a good look at how another culture differs from ours. I loved it!
