Here is an early sequel to The Scarlet Pimpernel. A simple plot. Prior tot he French revolution, a plutocrat is egged into a duel with a much younger aristocrat, whom he unfortunately kills accidentally. Retribution is in order. In the dark days ahead it is effected. Enter the Scarlet Pimpernel and his league of stalwarts. Well, you may guess at the denouement, but hardly at how it is achieved. Viva le Pimpernel!
