Contemporary Fantasy by Jeri Smith-Ready. The Devil is alive and well and living in Washington DC, as political consultant Louis Cavalho. Business is good for Lou, when he meets Lobbyist Do-Gooder Gianna O'Keefe. The Devil falls in love with a mortal woman. The romance is torrid, yet sweet. Lou will do whatever he has to, to keep Gianna. But, will she accept him, if she learns of his true nature? I love this book. It's well-written, full of philosophical and moral questions..sort of a thinking woman's romance. What is the Satan willing to give up for true love, or redemption? Love it.
