***I had a hard time trying to write a review for this book, so I went to Barnes & Noble and found these reviews as this is the 1st book I've read by this author, she has captured the essence of a young woman's tortured confusion over her own sexuality and taken us on a lovely European tour in the process! Danielle is a rich, thought provoking character you really get to taste and love. And although she's lost her way in life, crossing over the line of society's views of conventional love, by falling for another woman, she YEARNS to be rescued, NEEDS to be rescued, and DESERVES to be rescued. No matter the cost. Of course, Danielle realizes, as all great characters do, that only she has the ability to rescue herself and that life is about exposing one's heart and soul not only to the world, but also to one's self.
