It's not the best Dr. Who book I've ever read, but it's also not the worst. I was disappointed in the simplicity of the plot and the interaction between Rose and the Doctor.

I found this book to be a little choppy in places, but it came together well at the end. It wasn't my favorite Doctor Who novel, but it was worth the read.

I've read several of the new Doctor Who books, and this one is by far my favorite. The dialog, especially that of the Doctor, rings very true. One scene in particular is very strong - toward the beginning when the TARDIS is in trouble (what else is new). I could picture the Doctor running in circles around the console, hear Tennant's voice in my head. The words were perfect.
OK, the story is a little sparse. But it's a good one day read.
