I'm giving this one the poorest rating
It isn't very interesting at all! These 4 friends going for a weekend outing after the one friend, Julie, returns from missing for 2 years
ok, here's the thing
1. we never find out why she went missing
2. we don't why she eats raw meat
3. they are all juvenile in their thinking and talking
4. the 'f' word is everywhere it shouldn't be and do real friends really talk like that? if they do then I don't want to be with them
5. short stories inserted about things that happened but who cares, has nothing to do with this
6. creepy hotel? why? no meaning to it
7. no resolution to the entire storyline and just confusion about what was going on
8. very shallow characters
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone and someone suggested it for preteen? nope! subject matter not good
this was supposed to be creepy/horror? more like dumb and dumber

Effective pacing and a knack for ratcheting creepy vibes makes this a page-turner! A group of friends embark on a reunion at an isolated hotel when one of their own returns from a 2-year disappearance. Good writing and overall absorbing tale, a nice pick for a Halloween read. 4 stars.
