Fifth and last book in the Redemption Series.
another great book by Kingsbury. Loved it.
Last of the Redemption series. Book gets better. I needed lots of tissue for this one.
Another GREAT Karen Kingsbury book!
Of all the books in this series I cried more throughout. Karen Kingsbury has a way of writing that drew me in and while my name wasn't in the stories, I felt as if I was a part of the Baxter family...so much so that when I finished reading I felt a huge loss myself. I just can't imagine not knowing what happens in the rest of their lives and to see how God works and moves in their lives.
I could so see Gary Smalley's hand in this series also...his years of counseling experience really helped to bring home some much needed lessons for me...
This series (Redemption Series) will bless your life and teach you along the way of Gods love and provision and plan for our lives but also show you how we get in the way all the time and mess with His plan. Sit back, and allow him to lead...

This is the fifth book in the first set of series with the Baxter Family. There are actually three sets of series:
Redemption Series (5 books)
Firstborn Series (5 books)
Sunrise Series (4 books)
The Redemption series revolves around the Baxter family, the joys, triumphs, tragedies, and of course redemption. This book wraps up the series well and really brings everything full circle. The title says it all. Excellent book and inspiring wrap up.
The next two series will involve the Baxters to some extent but will focus on other characters and or families.
The Baxters will also be reintroduced in the Above the Line series by Karen Kingsbury.

Wonderful series...hate to stop reading...always looking forward to the next one.
The plots always hold you
Great book! Kingsbury and Smalley team up to write an excellent ending to an excellent series - The Redemption series. Very emotional - have your tissues handy but well written. I could almost feel the emotions this family was going through and trying to imagine myself in the same situation. The introduction to the next series was well written and did not detract from the main story line. I love this whole series and recommend it to anyone who enjoys real characters and stories in a Christian setting. Carol
Wonderful! Great ending to this powerful series!
Sad, but inevitable way to end the series. Wonderful and thought-provoking series!
Fifth and final book in the Redemption series, plans are being made for a family reunion. Nearly all the adult Baxter children have a reason to celebrate-except one. As the preparations get under way, a deadly diagnosis sends shock waves through the Baxter family and threatens to tear them apart.
The reality of what might lie ahead brings each of the Baxters to a place of faith and honesty. In the process, Elizabeth and John come to grips with a secret they haven't shared with anyone, a secret they rarely admit even to themselves. At the same time, a young man is making his rise in Hollywood and wondering about his place in life.
Amidst the threat of sorrow, the Baxters share in their most wonderful celebration of all--a moment to remember that love always wins out, no matter how long the struggle, a reminder that God reigns even in the darkest night.

Wonderful story - didn't want it to end!
Wow, I enjoyed the book and the series. I am looking forward to the other series which will introduce the 'missing' son and give me updates on the characters from this series. Love Karen Kingsbury's writings.
Happy Reading to whom ever receives the 5 books I have sent on.

This touching story allows us to see into the lives of the Baxter family as Erin and Sam attempt to adopt a child. As the family looks forward to a heartwarming reunion they find out that Mr. and Mrs. Baxter have a secret that could change their lives forever.

AWESOME!!! BEST BOOK OF THE ENTIRE SERIES. I WEPT.
This was a great book. However it had some what of a sad mood throughout the whole book. It was still great, but you might want some tissues on hand when you read it.
Have a tissue ready for this one!
