Overall, I liked this collection better than the first one. That having been said, I'd recommend reading "Fat Girls" first to become acquainted with the author's family. My favorite here was the transgender piece.

Overall, the book was OK. It's an enjoyable read, but not one that will inspire.

I found the main character annoying after all, but clearly I'm in the minority. Lots of wallowing in personal melodrama. It's like reading the diary of a slightly depressed single woman.
After years of buying exercise equiptemnt that ended up gathering dust on her back porch, Cherly Peck has decided she is in shape - and her shape is round...Revenge of the Paste eaters is ironic, funny, moving and honest. It is a book for everyone that hated the idea of the senior prom...

Another fun set of autobiographical sketches from the author of Fat Girls and Lawn Chairs.

She's hilarious and very insightful I thought.

This book was very below average in my opinion. I look forward to memoirs because they tend to make me laugh quite a bit and I usually fly through the short stories. At the end of Cheryl Peck's memoirs it feels like the author is quite proud of herself for being so witty but as the reader I was left wondering why I was still reading this book. This was a tedious read.
Awesome and funny read.
Very funny memoir....a quirky book.
Very funny!
I was a bit disappointed with this book. Parts of it are funny, some parts are touching but it just wasn't enough of either for me to "really like" it.
