Collection of Heinlein stories dealing with "future history". "If This Goes On", a novelette-length piece tells the story of a disillusioned young soldier in the American theocracy who joins a revolutionary movement; "Coventry" takes place a hundred years later and deals with a young man banished from the reorganized U.S. who finds that anarchy appears to be the kind of vacuum nature fills with bullies; "Misfit" is the most traditionally sf of the stories and deals with a young man in the "Cosmic Construction Corps" involved in a project to move a near-Earth asteroid into translunar orbit.
