I had a lot of fun with this one. The Rhesus Chart really seems to fire on all cylinders from start to finish, with just the right amount of snark, action, and grisly mess that one expects from a new Laundry novel.

It had a smaller scope than prior novels (though the danger was just as great), and I think this really helped out things in the end. Those always-confusing epic battle scenes just didn't happen here (the battles were more... intimate), and that lack of confusion made for a much stronger story.
