This is also a new author for me and another good discovery.

Lawrence Light is Financial Editor of Forbes magazine and he does as authors are told to do, write what you know.

This book is the first Karen Glick adventure. We follow Karen Glick an aspiring reporter. Now a financial reporter she is determined to expose the Billionaire Boys Club for tax fraud. As she investigates, the Billionaire Boys are being murdered, one by one. Her investigative work takes her in contact with several bizarre and mysterious characters, several closde calls and the ruthless greed of the Billionaire Boys and their companions. As she becomes the groups target as well, the investigation becomes a matter of life and death.

Karen Glick is a feisty and fearless reporter for Profit Magazine who has been doing fluff pieces, but aches to do investigative work. She's given her chance when a package of damaging information falls into her lap on The Billionaire Boys Club, a group of men who apparently haven't made their money entirely the old fashioned way, by earning it. A threat to wipe out the Club by a radical organization called Vampyr places Karen right in the middle of the danger.
TOO RICH TO LIVE places Karen in danger more than one protagonist should have to bear, and often is just too cutesy. However, Karen is an engaging character that deserves another adventure, just one that doesn't depend on Perils of Pauline to move every stage of the book.
