The two sexiest fat men alive have hit the marriage nail on the head! This book is entertaining from the get-go. If you listen to Rick and Bubbas radio show, rest assured that they stayed true to form when writing this book. These gentlemen cover everything (with examples) from forgotten anniversaries and vacations to losing weight and whos to blame during marital arguments. Advice in the book is good advice because they believe in marriage being for a lifetime and they show that you should stick with it because if you look at it from the humorous point of view they demonstrate, marriage really isnt that bad. Its about love, respect and commitment.
I laughed out loud at the true stories they tell about their own marriages and I found myself thinking about the similarities to my own marital tales. Rick and Bubba tell it from the husbands point of view and somehow understand it from the wifes point of view too. They have gained an understanding that every married man should strive to gain. To sum this marriage book up in two words They get it! Now, if I can just get my husband to read this book.

Rick Burgess and Bill "Bubba" Bussey are self-proclaimed fattest and sexiest men in America. They bring us this guide to help with marriage. No marriage is perfect and Rick and Bubba concur. But with their faith, they explain with much humor how you can reach your goal.
They share much of their own experiences with their own wives, and I just have to giggle every now or then because much of it is so true! And they aren't embarrassed to talk about it either.
Included with the guide is a cd which is their radio show sharing many stories included in the book. It will have you stitches and nodding your head in agreement.

Rick and Bubba's perspective on marriage is comical, realistic, and adds a touch of facetiousnes to their writing balanced with truthfullnes on all aspects of dating and marriage. Their wives even add their perspective of what the authors are conveying, whether they agree, or sometimes not agree. My husband and I have both read this new edition of Rick and Bubba writing which lends plenty of good advice to veteran couples, which we are, and new couples alike. If you need a laugh, along with some encouragement to everyday battles in "together forever" life, this book is a MUST. AWESOME!!

Who says that the subject of marriage has to strike fear into the hearts of men and women? Rick and Bubba show you how to make your marriage work without taking it all too seriously. They keep a lighthearted approach to a very serious subject.
Filled with a ton of helpful advice, things I hadnt ever really considered before and laugh after laugh, the authors caught and held my attention all the while reminding me why we did this crazy thing in the first place. A definite must-read for anyone who is married or has been thinking of getting married. Even if you already have that Almost Nearly Perfect Marriage.
