The book was OK. The beginning seemed to drag on and then for the last 50 pages, it sped through. I did not really like any of the characters.
I generally love southern fiction, esp. that involving children or told through their eyes. This was pretty bland, a tad boring, and super predictable. Didn't give a tinker's damn for a single character.
