If you've already seen the movie, you still need to read this book! The basic premise is the same, but the characters and details are totally different than the movie. I thought the movie was pretty freaky and wasn't sure if I'd enjoy the book it was based on -- I actually liked the book better! It's translated from Japanese, but the writing flows and the story is so engrossing I couldn't put it down. I finished it in two days. Now i need to get the others in the series to see what happens next.
