Sequel to 'Ex Marks the Spot' though both coud be read separately. Very good story and funny in places. Andi's friend from 'ex marks the spot' is dating a younger hunky air force pilot but it's 'just sex'. Another Air Force guy(older)is upset because she axed his grant proposal for a STEP program for youth on the edge because of the 'basic survival skills' requirement(she feared it was as recruiting tool) so he pulled strings and she was ordered to do the program as a sponsor for a troubled teen in foster care. about half the book or slightly less is her tryng to survive the wilderness(not a nature girl!)..this book could've been longer and detailed this more but that wasnt' the purpose..but she struggles wondering if she needs to end it with the pilot and focus on this guy or if this guy is interested...etc...deals with foster care and red tape. this one got a bit lecture-y in places but I enjoyed the story a lot overall and wish she could write more of this type story (older women).
