Strangely enough, there actually was a plot, but it was very poorly executed. Nothing was explained with anything resembling detail, leaving holes in the story that were wide enough to drive an 18-wheeler through.
The writing was very immature, with simple sentences and little dialogue. The conversations between the 2 male characters, Orion and Balt, were witty and amusing, but not particularly deep. The female character, Layla, was drab and boring. Mainly, her thoughts consisted of "I must leave so they will be safe." That gets old fast.
I don't usually read erotica, so I don't really know if the sex scenes were particularly good or not. I can say that, since the writing was so simplistic, a lot of the descriptive sentences were just plain crude, not sexy.
I will not bother to read anything by this author again.

This book sounded so good, I bought it new. I wish I hadn't. It was ok, but not as good as I thought it would be. Definitely not keeper material.
