This one is a bit more suspenseful, I thought, and I liked to because of it. It's a sweet love story and again you'll be left hoping for another book to read.

This was a great book and I was so glad to get to finish the series. I was truly impressed by this writing of Tracie Peterson. Can not wait to start another one of her series.

A good read and facts about life in Alaska in those years.

Book three of this trilogy carries the friendships, hardships and story line to a satisfying conclusion. The inspirational message is threaded throughout but is not detracting from the story. A "feel good" book that is perfect for a comfortable, pot-of-tea reading.
This book is part of the Yukon Quest series by Tracie Peterson. It describes Miranda, who runs into trouble crossing the wilderness with friends during the Alaska gold rush. She is thought to be dead, and rescued. Grace travels with the group across the wilderness, far away from her husband. There are stories about faith and perseverence. The characters Karen, the young Leah and the teenage Jacob, are also followed. The younger 2 characters show up in the current Tracie Peterson bestsellers, and much of their character is forged here.
I really enjoyed this series. Tracie Peterson is one of my favorite historical romance writers. If you like these kind of books, you will enjoy this series.
