Good writing; the cover comment stated the book 'unfurled' and I don't think I could come up with a better word than that to describe it. It does unfurl. Don't expect anything earth-shattering, but by the end you are glad it unfurled for you. I mean that in a good way. Great character development and a very well-done soft touch to the unfolding that kept you reading.
