This is a little change from Ludlum's usual style, it is humerous and actually a kind of satire. On the other hand, maybe it isn't satire! Our government has become very strange.

"Byzantine Treachery-Discoviering a long buried 1878 treaty with an obscure Indian Tribe, the Hawk, aka Chief Thunder Head hatches a brilliant plot that will ultimately bring him and heis reluctant lawyer Sam before the Supreme Court. Theri goal: to reclaim a choice piece of property in the state of Nebraska. Which just happens to be the headquarters of the US Strategic Air Command!"

This book was funny all the way throughout.

"WILL THE WOPOTAMI TRIBE EVER HAVE THEIR DAY IN THE SUPREME COURT?" This novel is filled with "nonstop suspense" and "side-splitting laughter!" Fun to read!

Goofy, a little boring, not much action, lots of "talk".

I really didn't enjoy this as much as I anticipated. A REAL departure from most other Ludlum works. I'm sure there is an audience for this; it just isn't me.

some parts are funny, but it just didn't hold my interest like his newer books do. I couldn't put the Scorpio Illusion down. This one I struggled through. It just didn't move along like his other intense novels do. and there was quite a bit of off-color humor I couldn't appreciate.

A funny and hilarious book.I could not believe that Ludlum could have written this book. The characters will come alive for you.A bigger than life leading man,I hope that Hollywood leaves this book alone.I laughed so much my wife thought I had lost my wits.
