Again, another Victoria Holt book that I just loved !!! I don't know how she comes up with so many ideas and so many different places around the world. I can not think of any of her books I did not like.
Classic Victoria Holt - a great page-tuner with a surprising but happy ending.
A book for the beach. You know where you will end, but the description of the scenery on the way adds to the interest.

The secret of two lovers and a mysterious island of untold wealth inspire a young woman's search for adventure and love...
This is a romantic mystery involving a treasure hunt. Like many of Victoria Holt's books, the beginning and end are an exciting flurry, while the middle is somewhat slow, filled with the heroine's romantic notions/emotions. An enjoyable read but not one of Holt's more memorable.
A HS read that was enjoyed why back when.
