Edwards' biography of Margaret Mitchell, centering as it must around Mitchell's writing of 'Gone With the Wind', is meticulously researched and eminently readable. Any fan of GWTW will find much to enjoy here.

Biography of Margaret Mitchell, author of "Gone With the Wind." The book itself was fine; I just found it disappointing that Ms. Mitchell's life was, well, so uninspiring, seeing as how her novel was so very great. I don't regret having read about her, though.
