This is an excellent book. I could not put it down until I finished it. Robby was a baby Robin That the author raised. Robins are must more intelligent than I had thought, because this robin came back for 26 years and remembered the author. There are bright color photographs of Robby and his bright blue eggs and babies. The author must have kept a journal and has a respect for all of God's creatures. She is an excellent writer.I learned habits, habitats and facts that I never knew before about animals. This is an excellent, but quick read. This is a beautiful book.

If you like birds I have an interesting one posted called Robby, where a farm wife raises a baby robin and turns him loosed and he comes back every year to her yard or a close neighbors with his mate to build his nest for 26 years. She has very interesting observations.I did not know that wild bird were so smart.
