This is the official tie-in to the new ROBOTECH games, and has three complete novels: BATTLEHYMN, FORCE OF ARMS, and DOOMSDAY. Wild space opera with fast-paced warfare, aliens vs humans (mostly, but with some humans you just never know...)

From back cover: In BATTLEHYMN, For two years, Captain Gloval and the crew of the Super Dimensional Fortress (SDF-1) have been relentlessly pursued through the solar system by a race of savage alien warriors, only to be grounded and ignored when they return to Earth. But Gloval does not take things lying down. Defying his superiors, he orders the SDF-1 airborne. He has no choice: The fate of Earth is at stake.

FORCE OF ARMS: The alien armada has hunted the mighty SDF-1 across the trackless void of space and now plans to destroy it once and for all--along with the human race, its homeworld, and any alien sympathizers. Every last Zentraedi warrior is mobilized for the climactic battle of the Robotech War. For the aliens, like humanity, must win or be obliterated.

DOOMSDAY: After the SDF-1 returns to its ravaged planet Earth, the humans begin the painstaking process of rebuilding. They and their former enemies, the Zentraedi, now share a common goal--survival. But beneath the surface, discontent is festering. For some of the Zentraedi are unaccustomed to a life without warfare--and they intend to revert to their old destructive ways...
