I love all of his Xanth books. They're innocent but fun.
Amusing, with the usual wordplay to be expected of the Xanth series. The endless puns do get tiring, of course. In this one, the Deamoness Metria is involved in the trial of a Roc accused of breaking the adult conspiricy.
I don't know how Piers Anthony thinks these things up. If it was anyone else I would say that they have too much time on their hands, but with him, it is also his occupation. Very cleverly written and amusing in the puns he uses.
As always, a wonderful addition to the Xanth series.
