This was my first book by Robert Doherty, and I was impressed. You can tell he is a military author in disguise. The weapons and combat scenes are well written and accurate.

This book had a great plot with more twists than a pretzel. At one point it seems to devolve into an old 1950's plot about saving the Earth from aliens but it quickly twists in a radically different direction.

This book is adventure, suspense, science fiction, and mystery at their best. The characters were well written and easy to identify with... even the weird ones.

I will definitely be trying this author on again.
