I really enjoyed this book! Archer captured the feelings of a middle-aged mom whose children have left for college perfectly. I liked the way Dana worked through her problems and the family relationships were not ruined. A very good read!

A fun trip through the angst of letting go. A "recovering, hovering Mom" discovering the joys of an empty nest. This story takes us through an improbable, but interesting, sometimes funny side trip taken by a Mom who is wondering what kind of meaning her life will have now that her youngest child is off to college.

This book is about a mom that has to deal with empty nest syndrome. She finds out how to deal with it by reviving a town. It is a really good book.

A mom who has done everything for her children finds her way after the second leaves for college. A journey for the whole family, but especially for Dana (the mom) when she finds herself stranded in a small town with a rich past but not much future -- yet!

As a mom w/kids still at home, I can only imagine what Dana feels when her youngest leaves home for college. This book has kept me turning pages and laughing - an easy, fun read.
Loved this book. I wasn't familiar with the author so I didn't know what I'd be getting. Good story and just enough ??? to keep you interested. I've traveled southern CO in bad weather so I could totally relate to the setting. Just wish it was available in audio form for my friend who doesn't read book-books. Recommended!
