This isn't a bad series, but I suggest reading the online version that it is based on. The online version is less censored, has more interesting and funnier plotlines, and is generally better. Go to http://www.funbrain.com/journal/Journal.html?ThisJournalDay=1&ThisPage=1 for it.

One of my favorite things about this book (and the entire series) is that girls love it, too! My daughter, who is 8, has read each of the first three books in the series, and loved them all. They're written in an easy-to-understand style that even younger children can comprehend, and the artwork is hilarious entertainment.
Perfect for reluctant readers, children, and everyone in between!

I read and adored the first book and couldn't wait to tear into this sequel. Parts of this were funny and the artwork is still classic, but I didn't just love it as much as the first book. It felt, "more of the same".
However, if you enjoyed the first book, give this a try. It still puts Greg into several classic situations and you watch him dig himself into a hole deeper and deeper as he tries to get out.

Once again, my 10 year old niece gave me this to read and said it was just as funny as the first one. Another quick read for adults, it really is more of the same from book 1. I think I've gotten all I can out of this series, but how do I tell my niece I'd just as soon skip the next one?
My boys love this book!

My 7 year old Great-great-grand-nephew was absolutely thrilled when he saw this book. He immediately opened the book and entered the Wimpy Kid's world. I think that speaks for itself. Thank you to PaperBack Swap. He and his dad are very impressed with swapping books.
