If you have been reading all of Mr. Alexander's books, "The Romonov Bride" will not disappoint you! He takes you back to Russia during the Russian revolution and the fall of rule of the Romanov Family. This is historical fiction at its BEST!

I really enjoyed this book. It gives detailed insight to both sides of the Russian Revolution. This book is very graphic, and not for sensative readers. It is a great book, but be prepared: it is not a happy, feel good story.

Robert Alexander has written a most compelling drama of the Romanov famiy during the Russian revolutions. His stunning storytelling evolves between two characters in his book, that of Ella & of Pavel. Alexander's ability to show both views between Ella's & Pavel are excellently written. Pavel's grief of losing his wife & son through death turns to hatred. He becomes directly involved in the opposition of the Romanov empire. He is driven to kill the Tsar. Ella's grief of losing her husband, the Tsar, turns to more intense compassion. She is determined to open an 'obitel' and does. Her focus in helping people in need is quite stunning. Alexander shares much of the Russian revolutions and historical fact. An excellent read.
