nice, but clouded with a lot of self-important crap that was noted by author, not Diana.

What interesting detail into the life of the Princess of Wales. I always like her, but Princess Diana comes alive in this book. Unfortunately, we all know the ending. Well worth the read even though some of the British humor/knowledge was lost to me. It was a GREAT insight to the Royal Family!

Very interesting behind-the-scenes look at Royal life, and in particular, a glimpse of the personal life of Diana, Princess of Wales.

Very moving story about Princess Diana, as told by her butler!

Being a royal family junkie, I enjoyed this one. Who's to say if it is all true, but entertaining no less.
The story of Princess Diana as told by her butler and closest servant. Well written.
I enjoyed the book a great deal. It was an interesting, and very personal, perspective into the life of Diana, and the entire Royal Family.
Fascinating inside look at the Royal Family, warts and all, yet without a vicious tone.
A book by Princess Di's trusted butler, Paul Burrell. He reveals intimate details and shocking relevations of a life spent with the royal family. This book includes lots of photos!
Good one: it offers an up-close and personal look at Princess Di, although the author talks as much about himself and life with the royals.
I thought this book would be more about Diana, the Princess of Wales. There is quite a bit of information about the author, Paul Burrell (about the last 100 pages). The pictures are interesting though.
He was the Queen's favorite footman and the Princess of Wale's trusted butler. Now Paul Burrell reveals intimate details and shocking revelations of a life spent among the Royal Family.
This book is about Princess Di, but Burrell also writes alot about his life. It's a good book, not exactly what I expected after all the hype though.
I love Princess Diana and this is an amazing account of her times with her butler, and the events leading up to her death.
Quite something - interesting read.
If you have ANY interest in the royal family read this book...it was very juicy! He wrote candidly about the "human" side of Princess Diana. You will be intrigued by just how tough she made her own life.
He was the Queen's favorite footman and the Princess of Wales's trusted butler. Now Paul Burrell reveals intimate details and shocking revelations of a life spent among the Royal Family. He is the one man who can separate myth from the truth of the Diana years--and fulfill his duty to one of the most remarkable women of the House of Windsor.
Great Pictures too!
Great Pictures too!
A great insight into Lady Di's life and personality. Very enjoyable.
My favorite of all the Diana books, because of Burrell's obvious love for his employer. Great detail, very well-written - has a picture section as well.
Wonderful book!!!!
I don't care for Mr. Burrell and I am ashamed of myself for buying this book and adding to his royalties. Having said that I will share it with as many of you so we will not add any more money to this shameless endeavor. I know, I know it really is a good read and I do believe he was a true confidant of the Princess we all loved so well. I just wish the book was not so self-serving and he was a better friend that did not share all these intimate details. Alright so I'm a hypocrite and I devored the entire book and wanted to know more; it just makes me wish she were better treated by alot of people.
