Royal Holiday was the first Jasmine Guillory novel I've read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm generally the same age as Vivian, the main character, and even though I'm happily married, I could really relate to her. There aren't enough romances featuring middle-aged couples so this is a welcome addition to that short list.
Malcolm is a charming hero - smart, handsome, thoughtful, and on staff directly to the Queen of England! It was such fun to 'travel' throughout London as their relationship developed, and I loved their postcard exchange near the end of the novel.
I have all of Ms. Guillory's novels on my TBR shelves and look forward to meeting more of her delightful characters soon.
