Yippee! I found another Dog Mystery series--and I like it.
This book kept me turning the pages because the author made it plausible that a whole handful of the characters could have been the killer.
There's some good background relationships with the narrator and her mother, and the narrator and her office mate.
I'll be looking for the rest in this series!

I like O'Kane's other series more--she's also Leslie Caine, by the way. I have a little trouble with the idea of a dog psychologist. Not that it's not believable, but that anyone would really waste their time and money on something like that. A simple dog trainer is enough, I would think.
Be that as it may, the story is pretty good here. O'Kane writes a good mystery and doesn't get carried away--as some dog mystery authors do--with thinking dogs are the most important things in the world.
The Boulder, Colorado, setting is also fun. As a one-time resident of a nearby city who worked for a time in Boulder, I enjoy the scenery in this book.

This is the second in the Allie Babcock series and I enjoyed this one as well as the first! It's a quick little read - murder, mystery, quirky characters, cute dogs and Allie solving everything as she does so well.
This was an exceptional mystery plus it's just fun to find a mystery that can be easily read in one day! There was a lot of twists and turns and was surprised at who the killer really was! GREAT READ!
Dog therapist Allie Babcock must decide the fate of a terrier in a custody battle - which leads to murder.
