This is a book that made me feel like I had stepped into an Agatha Christie novel. Julianna Deering writes a novel that flows and has you striving to figure out who-dun-it. What exactly was the purpose for the tunnel? Did the butler or the gardener do it? Are these people really who they say they are? Anyways, in the midst of the suspense and mystery there is also a little bit of romance which I found to be very sweet and innocent. This really throws you back to reading an old dime mystery or one from yesteryear. The dialogue, characters and details all mixed together for some great reading. Loved it and can't wait for the next book in the Drew Farthering series!!

Fun cozy mystery set in England in the 1930's. When Drew and his stepfather's young niece stumble upon a body during a dinner party at his estate, they're drawn into a mystery wrapping the family up in lies, deception, and murder.
What a good mystery involving smart and charming amateur sleuths. I was immediately drawn into Drew's world. Mystery, with a number of suspects and romance on the side â Well played. Full review is at my website. lorainenunley(dot)com
