Have you seen Goodfellas? This backs up quite a few things in the movie and adds a few more details into the family life of Henry Hill, as told by his children Gregg & Gina. They take turns giving you their take on their family life as they fled from state to state in the Witness Protection Program.
Helpful Score: 1
As told through the eyes of Gregg and Gina Hill, children of the famous mafia associate Henry Hill, this book is the disturbing story of the Hill family's life on the run when they were in the government's witness protection program. It will make a sobering read for anyone, especially people whose sole impression of the criminal underworld is derived from gangster movies or watching The Soprano's on TV.

from the back cover: Their father was the notorious Henry Hill, Mafia turncoat and "hero" of the movie Goodfellas. Now brother and sister Gregg and Gina Hill tell their own story of danger, hurt, and family--and how, in the end, they found a way to survive.
An excellent book - one of those 'can't put down' books that you hate to see end.
I could not put this book down! It was so easy to follow and if you saw the movie "Goodfellows" then you were very familiar with the cast and knew just who they were talking about. I really felt so bad for the kids and what they had to go through, you really do feel their pain. - Easy, Fast, exciting.
If you have seen the movie "Goodfellas" then you need to read first "Wiseguy" which I also have, then read this one. Wiseguy and On the run A Mafia Childhood are what the movie Goodfellas is based off of only they go into more detail in the life of Henry Hill. Both are very good books.
A sad story of two children trapped in a dysfunctional family. A good read.
Really good book! all about the family of Henry Hill and their time in the witness protection program.
