Wonderful book!
Yet another Terry Kay book I had trouble putting down. I began to wonder about why it was titled "The Runaway," but that doubt was resolved by the end of the book, as I expected it would be. The book cover is not accurate, as it depicts two boys running on what appears to be a beach. There is no beach in the book. Just a minor detail which does not take away from the genius of Kay's work.
I almost hesitate to write anything about how much I enjoy reading Terry Kay, for fear his books will be harder to come by on Paperback Swap! But he was recommended to me by another PBS member, and I felt I should pass it along.
