Helpful Score: 1
This is the conclusion to the Orphans series which I read because I had just finished reading the Flowers in the Attic books and loved them so much that I longed for something similar. Orphans is worth the read but cannot be compared to any of the Flowers books.
Helpful Score: 1
Interesting adventures of the Orphans as they band together, steal their creepy foster father's car, and head for California. A quick enjoyable read if you like V.C. Andrews. I always have one ready to read as a little relief after serious reading, or books with complex plots.
enjoed this series.
You know, the VC Andrews series just haven't been the same since she died and they started using a ghostwriter...but this is ok, if predictable.
This is a great book about friendship and adventure.

This is about four young girls who all have dreams of being something speacial and are all orphaned. Pretty good book!
Many interesting characters and events. Good for young readers.
The spell binding orphans series concludes in this thriling new novel.
Pretty good read, basic VC Andrews.
V.C ANDREWS is one of my favorite authors. This is a great thriller that will keep you in suspense. A heartwrenching orphan series.
all of the books i have read of V C Andrews are good. This one is no exception. Loved it, read it in a day.
"All for one and one for all" was the girls' motto. In the grim foster home for orphans run by Louise and Gordon Tooey, at least Brooke, Crystal, Raven, and Butterfly had each other. Calling themselves sister, together they could forget the past and dream of a new chance...a real home. Then they discovered a secret even more haunting than Gordon's heavy boots pounding on the wooden floors. Their fragile hopes of a better life shattered, they escaped the only way they could. Soon they were runaways in a borrowed car, desperately wishing to wake up one morning in a place of sunshine and love.
Raven hoped to be a singer, Butterfly wanted to be dancer, Crystal planned for college, and Brooke privately hoped to find her mother in California. On the open road, the chains of sadness that had bound them seemed to melt away, and the kindness of strangers made a secure future seem almost real. But the highway was a dangerous place, and soon they were penniless and more vulnerable than ever. Alone under the wide western sky, they had only each other to ask if they should give up their dreams...or if they were really halfway to a haven of safety and happiness...

I like it
Great books for teens and adults!
I have read others by this author just not really into this series
This is the 5th book of a series. The four books first are Butterfly, Crystal, Brooke, & Raven ending with the series of Runaways
Very enjoyable read
Good book but hardly falls under the category of "horror"
I really liked it.

This is a great read about four young teenagers trying to escape awful childhoods and make a better life for themselves.
